- To introduce the fundamental idea that money today is worth more than the same amount in the future.
- To explain key concepts such as Present Value (PV) and Future Value (FV) and how to compute them.
- To highlight how interest rates, compounding, inflation, and risk affect the value of money over time.
- To enable participants to apply these basic financial principles for personal or corporate financial decisions (investments, savings, loans, project evaluation).
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants understood that receiving money now is generally preferable to receiving the same amount later because present money can be invested to grow over time.
- They learned how to calculate what a future sum is worth today (Present Value) and how a current sum will grow in future (Future Value) using standard formulas.
- They became aware of how factors like interest rate, time period, inflation and risk impact value of money — important for financial planning and decision making.
- They are now better equipped to assess investments, savings, loans or any financial decision by comparing cash flows at different points in time — thus able to make more informed, rational financial choices.

- To develop students’ ability to network strategically using alumni networks, cold messaging, and meaningful engagement.
- To train students to write impactful posts, build personal branding, and showcase achievements effectively.
- To enable students to use LinkedIn features for job search, industry interaction, and skill development.
Students learned why LinkedIn is critical for professional growth, recruiter engagement, networking, and visibility. Key statistics and use cases were shared to highlight its importance in modern career development.
Activities Conducted During the Workshop
- Cold Message Roleplay – Students practiced drafting personalized LinkedIn messages.
- Headline & Summary Fix Activity – Students rewrote weak profiles into stronger versions.
- Hook-Writing Drill – Students created engaging opening lines for LinkedIn posts.
- Canva Content Creation – Hands-on practice designing LinkedIn posts and carousels.
- Profile Audit – Peer Review – Students reviewed each other’s profiles using an evaluation checklist.
- Elevator Pitch Video Challenge – Students recorded a 30-second LinkedIn-style introduction video.

By the end of the training, students were able to:

Aptitude Test (Skill Check Assessments) on 15 September 2025.
The Aptitude Test (Skill Check Assessments) organized by placement team using the POD.ai platform for BBA and MBA batches of 2026 and 2027 was held on 15th September 2025 at lab no. 102-A, B, C,108-A, B, 211,220, BPIT. The reporting time for the students was 2:30 PM and the test was conducted for a duration of 90 minutes. The assessment was designed to evaluate the students’ proficiency in three major areas: English, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The English section comprised grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and verbal ability. The Logical Reasoning section tested logical deductions, intellectual reasoning, and abstract reasoning, while the Quantitative Aptitude section included arithmetic, geometry, modern mathematics, numbers, algebra, and data interpretation. 80 students from BBA and 41 students from MBA attended the aptitude test.
The main purpose of this test was to identify the aptitude levels of students, prepare them for forthcoming placement opportunities, and enhance their critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. Active participation was observed from both BBA and MBA students, who reported on time and followed the instructions diligently. The test was well-structured, covering multiple skill areas in a balanced way, and was received positively by students. Many found it challenging but acknowledged its importance in building career readiness.
