The Bachelor of Business Administration Department of SBA, BPIT proudly hosted its 4th International Conference on the Theme “Energy and Sustainability: Tackling the Global Climate Challenge” on Thursday the 5th of December, 2024. The event was a grand success and a great learning opportunity for the research fraternity. The BBA department feels indebted to Shri Vinod Vats, Chairman BPIT for his perpetual support. The Conference started with a very insightful Pre-Conference session by Prof. Brandon Randolph Seng, Editor in Chief, Management Decision on the 4th of December 2024. He gave valuable inputs into improvising research and the publication opportunities for the conference participants in the prestigious journal Management Decision. The key note speakers for the event were the eminent Prof. Roy Matta, Prof Charbel Salloum, Prof. Marco Valeri who graced the inaugural virtually, all the way from France and Italy and Lebanon, respectively. The Conference session chairs were extremely distinguished Prof. Divya Gangwar and Dr. Sonal Thukral. We are extremely grateful for their insightful contributions. The conference witnessed 25 research papers from India and abroad from eminent Institutes such as Salford University UK, NIT Silchar, Amity Noida, Maharaja Surajmal Institute Delhi, to name a few. Two papers were awarded as best papers, One from each track respectively. Students of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) Animesh Nayak(Ist year BBA) , Arnav Nayak(Ist year BBA)and Priyanshu Pandey (IIIrd year BBA)showcased their exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills by securing the second prize in the prestigious National Case Study Analysis Competition hosted by Jagannath International Management School , Vasant Kunj . The competition, held in two rounds on November 13th and 16th 2024, brought together talented teams from various states and renowned universities across the country.
SBA, BPIT team stood out among the best, demonstrating their expertise and innovative approach to complex case studies. Their hard work and dedication earned them accolades in the form of a trophy, certificates of merit, and a cash prize worth rs 1500, highlighting their remarkable achievement on a national platform.

Two days SEBI-NISM sponsored workshop on “Financial Planning and Capital Markets”
Finance club of School of Business Administration organized a two days workshop on October 10th & 11th, 2024 for the students of BBA and MBA. The topic of the workshop was “Financial Planning and Capital Markets”and this workshop was sponsored by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). Approximately 80 students participated in this workshop. Dr. Mukul Jain, a well renowned financial expert was the resource person for the workshop. On the first day of the workshop, he explained the basics of savings and investments to the students and he also explained how to make a financial plan for an individual by diversifying the portfolio. Mr. Jain explained the various latest options of investments available for the investors. On the second day, the discussion was done on the financial markets with a emphasis on capital markets, intermediaries of the markets and their role in capital markets. Students came to know about the various methods of raising capital and their pros and cons. Lastly, Mr. Jain explained the various career options available for the management students in the financial sector. At last, workshop came to an end with a meaningful learning and a lot of practical exposure.

Financial Planning with CFP Certification
On September 10th Finance club of School of Business Administration organized a guest talk on “Financial Planning with CFP certification”for its MBA students. This session was organized by Financial Planning Standard Board (FPSB) India. Mr. Anurag Rana, Senior Manager of FPSB India addressed the students. He explained the importance of financial planning for young investors with real life examples. He also explained that Certified Financial Planning course is globally accepted with its acceptance in 27 countries. Students got the practical exposure about the various tools of saving and investment, power of compounding etc.
A Study Visit to Parliament House on September 4, 2024
School of Business Administration of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology organized a study visit to Parliament on 04th September, 2024 for its MBA III semester students. A group of 35 students along with 3 faculty members namely, Dr, Amit Gupta, Dr. Mani Manjari and Dr. Gayatri Chopra visited the parliament house. This was indeed an informative and educational visit for the students. This visit was organized with the assistance of Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE). Senior delegates of Pride guided the students about the functioning of both houses of the parliament in a very simple manner. Students visited the old and new complexes of Parliament along with the Parliament library, Parliament Museum and visitors’ gallery. In addition to that, students came to know about the election procedure of Rajya Sabha members and how a law is framed. Officials of Pride answered the questions of students in a very simple and easy manner. It was indeed a learning experience for the students.

BPIT conducted the orientation session for the First-year MBA (2024-26) and BBA (2024-27) Students on 4th of September, 2024. Prof. Payal Pahwa (Principal, BPIT) gave her blessings to the students. The students were familiarized with the rules, regulations and policies of the institute. In the session, the MBA Alumni -Anuj Chawla (Batch 2008-10) Designation – Finance operation lead in British Telecom and Ms. Jyoti Tyagi (Batch 2013-15) Designation- Raw and pack material planner in Procter and Gamble, interacted and shared their experiences with the first year students.
Selection of Student Coordinators for Placement Committee - SBA
SBA department conducted interviews for the selection of Student coordinators for Placement committee. The objective of having student representatives in this committee is to improve student involvement and achieve higher participation in training and placement activities being organized by SBa department.
This will help students to identify their strengths, interests, and areas for improvement, and providing tools and confidence to navigate the job market. Student coordinators will be able to communicating their needs to faculty and the placement cell, and raise concerns faced by the student community. Along with maintaining data and documentation, they will get opportunity to analyse market trends and develop professional network with corporates.
National Space Day Celebration on Aug 23, 2024: Igniting the Cosmos in Young Minds!
On August 23, 2023, India made history as the first nation to land on the Moon’s southern polar region, marking it as National Space Day. School of Business Administration, BPIT celebrated this day in 2024 with engaging activities that sparked student interest in space exploration and astronomy. The event inspired a love for space science, making learning both fun and memorable for all participants.

A Pre-internship / Placement Session by Abhhyam Ventures India Private Limited under the aegis of ArdhSainik Welfare Trust (Regd.) was organized by School of Business Administration of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology on 9th May 2024. The objective of this session was to give the orientation to our BBA students of 2nd year and 3rd year for their internship and Placement opportunities.
The session was conducted by Sh. Puran Chand Arya, Ex-CRPF. He maily spoke regarding the Welfare and Rehabilitation of the Sainik Community and their families in various fields like providing school & college admission to soldier children at concessional rates, ITR e-Filing assistance, free legal guidance, Widow Welfare Fund (for cases of natural death of soldiers), rehabilitation of retired soldiers and their families through Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (trained 500+ students till now), ArdhSainik Canteen (ASC ) Stores, ArdhSainik Pharmacy Store, and many other employment opportunities, to provide a happy and prosperous life to the Sainik community.
A total of 120 BBA students attended the session and enriched themselves about the novel concept of called “Raashan se Pension Yojana” under ‘Abhhyam Venture India Pvt. Ltd.’, working under ArdhSainik Welfare Trust (Regd.). This interactive session was concluded by Question and answer session.
Intellectual Alliance of Ideas: Inter College Case Analysis Competition, 25th April, 2024
School of Business Administration, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) organised “3rd Case Study Competition- INTELLECTUAL ALLIANCE OF IDEAS” on 25th April 2024, Thursday with an aim to develop problem solving approach, team building, and cognitive thinking and communication skills among students. The event was sponsored by T.I.M.E. Institute to provide guidance to the students for higher education and Projectguru, a research consultancy organization. 36 teams participated in the event. Out which 32 teams were from different institutes and universities in Delhi, NCR and 4 teams were from different departments in BPIT.
The event was judged Prof. Anoop Pandey who is currently working as Head of Department (HOD) at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand having more than 20 years of experience of teaching and research and Ms. Priya Chetty, the Co Founder of Project Guru and an eminent expert of research. In addition, 4 distinguished Alumni of SBA, BPIT graced the event as panelists for Round one: Mr Amit Chaturvedi, a Finance and Business Research Expert at Evalueserve.

The case was released by Prof.Payal Pahwa, Principal BPIT and other distinguished guests. Thereafter first round was initiated in which 36 Teams participated and were allotted one hour to read and understand the case. Out of which 9 teams qualified the first round and participated in the second round where they faced the panel in a grilling question and answer round after presenting their PPT. Shri Vinod Vats, Honourable Chairman BPIT graced the occasion and congratulated the winners for the next round.
The first position was secured by team of JIMS, Vasant Kunj (Aaryan Anand and Devyansh Sisodia) and the Second position was secured Students of ITS School of Management (Shikha Mishra, Nidhi Kumari Mishra, Akash Sharma, Aditya Gaur). The Winning teams were given a cash prize of Rs 5100 and 3100 respectively along with discount vouchers from TIME.

An Industrial Visit helps in enhancement of students’ understanding of the actual working of an organization and to know about the intricacies involved in organizational working. Notice Board Decoration Competition on 23rd October 2023.
School of Business Administration of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Rohini organized Notice Board Decoration Competition on 23rd October 2023. The students of BBA & MBA actively participated in the event. The theme for Notice Board Decoration Competition was “Savings and Investment”. Sixty four students forming thirteen teams participated in the event and beautifully decorated the notice board with their innovative ideas. Students showed high level of coordination and team effort among themselves. Students were evaluated on the basis of their board decoration, knowledge on the theme ‘savings and investment’ and cost involved. Prof. (Dr.) Sundram Priyadarshnie, HOD, SBA department appreciated and motivated all the students and also encouraged for their hard work and efforts.

School of Business Administration of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Rohini organized Poster Making Competition on 23rd October 2023. The students of BBA & MBA actively participated in the event. The theme for Poster Making Competition was “Sustainable Living”/ “Sustainability & Re-silience in wartime”. Sixty-nine students participated in the event and created beautiful and informative posters depicting the various dimensions of Sustainable living. Posters were evaluated on the basis of innovation, creativity and information. The event was graced by the presence of Honourable Chairman Sir Shri Vinod Vats Ji and Principal Madam, Prof. Payal Pahwa Ji. They appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the students and encouraged all the participants. The winners were felicitated in the central lawn and the event ended with words of motivation and wisdom by Chairman Sir and Principal Mam.

Industrial visit on 4th October 2023
School of Business Administration of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) organised an industrial visit to Garvit Green Industries Pvt. Ltd. on October 4th, 2023. First year and second year MBA students visited the factory site at Panipat, Haryana. In total, 40 students visited the factory site along with three staff members namely Dr. Amit Gupta, Ms. Neha Garg and Mr. Sudhir Sharma. M/s Garvit Green Industries Pvt. Ltd. deals in manufacturing of eco friendly disposable crockery of different types such as glass, cup and plates of different sizes. Overall, the industrial visit was a great learning experience for the students.

This session was jointly organized by School of Business Administration, Research foundation of India and RFI Care. It was sponsored by JHERF, World Virtual Conference Forum, World Federation of Science and Technology, International Research Guide Federation, Academic Research Guide Association and Edu Academic INC. 240 participants including research scholars, academicians registered themselves for this session. Eminent well renowned personalities from the reputed institutions took the sessions on the following topics:

- Understanding ethical issues and plagiarism
- Compiling references/Bibliography

The Guest of Honour for the event was Mr. Anil Chopra Director, Bajaj Capital. In his address to the students, he gave expert tips on how to handle case analysis and apply conceptual knowledge in real world problems.
The Event was judged Mr. Narender Arora and Prof.Anoop Pandey Mr. Narender Arora is a retired Senior Manager at Bank of Maharashtra having more than four decades’ experience in banking sector. Prof.Anoop Pandey is currently working as Head of Department (HOD) at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand having more than 20 years of experience of teaching and research.
The case was unsealed by Prof.Payal Pahwa, Principal BPIT. She graced the event with her words of wisdom. In the result, first position was secured by team of Maharaja Surajmal Institute- (Yatin, Niket, Jasmanjot and Aditi) and the Second position was secured Student of Llyod Institute of Management & Technology (Anurag Nayak). Professor Tandon (Founder Director, BPIT) joined the panel experts in the prize distribution ceremony and also shared his words of wisdom with the students.

Workshop on Research publication & Data analysis Basics on the 6th of April, 2023
School of Business Administration, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology organized a workshop for the BBA and MBA students on Research publication & Data analysis Basics on the 6th of April, 2023 The goal of the workshop was to provide valuable insights, skills and knowledge to the attendees that would help them in their academic and research experience. The workshop was designed to include presentation, case studies, and group discussions to ensure that attendees were able to apply the information they learn to their research experience. The speaker for the event was Ms. Priya Chetty. She is the Co-Founder of Project Guru, a research and analytics firm based in Gurugram since 2012. Over the last 10 years, she has helped hundreds of researchers write & publish their papers using a range of research tools like SPSS, STATA, Meta-analysis, and NVIVO. She has also worked closely with English literature, management, education, economics and social sciences-related concepts. She is now helping aspiring researchers too.

Training on Advanced Excel - March 20th -24th 2023.
School of Business Administration, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology organised a joint digital skills initiative by Ministry of Labour and Employment and Microsoft India. It was a one week training to impart hands on training to management students of MBA second semester on Advanced Excel from March 20th -24th 2023.
The training was given by Mr. Abhishek Shankhwar having Professional skills with over 15 years of rich hands-on experience in managing databases, Strategy Planning, Customer acquisition, loyalty programs and Training. He holds proficiency in the implementation of new systems and processes, streamlining existing human resource management processes.
Industrial Visit to CocaCola Happiness Factory, Greater Noida- 20th-22nd December, 2022
Industrial Visit to the Coca Cola Plant in Greater Noida was organized for MBA and BBA students of SBA over a period of 3 days. Students learnt about the various dimensions of manufacturing of different products under the brand of Coca Cola. They visited through the museum of coca cola and familiarized themselves with the history and the other facts associated with the brand. It was a great learning experience for the students.

The session was conducted under the guidance of Training and Placement Officials of School of Business Administration (SBA) Department of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology.
• The key speakers represent the Fincopedia Financial Solution Pvt. Ltd. which is an unlisted company dealing in stock market assistance.
• The aim of the session is to construct the awareness about the securities market among graduates and post graduate students and also enhance their investment decisions.
• Speakers highlighted the concern in equity market and guided the students about how to invest in equity securities along with Dos and Don’ts.
• The session also touches the concept of fundamental and technical analysis by which students can explore about the security market before investing.
• The session also offered an internship program to the interested students with virtual money backed by training where students can earn substantial income along with managing their portfolio.
• The students have enthusiastically participated in the session and provided positive feedback mentioning the transmit to knowledge.

The 2nd International Conference on ‘Paradigm shift in Managerial Practices and Innovations: leading through Technology and Business Models’ was organized by School of Business Administration (SBA), Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) on Tuesday, 6th December, 2022. The main aim of the conference was to bring forth the technological changes and the new business models that have redefined the way business is done. The conference started with an inaugural session wherein Professor (Dr.) Sundram Priyadarshnie welcome our Chief Guest – Dr Manosi Chaudhuri, Professor OB-HRM, Birla Institute of Management Technology, (BIMTECH) and other dignitatories. Inaugural session was addressed by Dr Manosi Chaudhuri, Professor OB-HRM, BIMTECH, Professor Payal Pahwa, Principal BPIT, Shri Y D Gaur, Executive Director, BPIT, Shri M S Vats, OSD, Professor Abhijit Nayak, Dean Academics and Professor V K Wadhwa, Dean SBA department. Then the dignitatories present in the event lightened the lamp and worshipped the Goddess Saraswati.
The first technical session was unveiled by keynote speaker Dr Alina Costin, Associate Professor at ‘Aurel Vlaicu’ University of Arad, Romania through virtual meet.
- The first technical session was chaired by Prof. Poonam Khurana, Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), GGSIPU & Dr. Mani Manjari, Associate Professor, BPIT, GGSIPU and participants enthusiastically presented their innovative ideas concerning diverse research papers. In the First session eight papers were presented. Three presentations were offline whereas five were online. Best paper award was given to Dr Himani Gupta, Associate Professor, JIMS Vasant Kunj for the paper presented titled “COVID-19 Debt and Share price of Life Insurance Companies”.
- The second technical session was chaired by Prof Seshanwita Das, Professor Christ University and Dr V K Wadhwa, Dean of School of Business Administration (SBA), BPIT, GGSIPU. The participants devotedly presented their novel thoughts regarding their research areas. In total there were nine presentations in this session, out of which three were offline and six were online. Best paper award was given to Mr Jitender Kumar Goyal, Research scholar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research, Delhi for paper titled “Digitizing Financial Sector- A Nexus Between Financial Inclusion and Economic Growth & Development”.
- The conference brought several dedicated research scholars, faculty members, key officials and students to highlight the recent advancement in managerial practices and total 17 high quality research papers were presented by authors. The conference followed hybrid mode of presentation reaching out to maximum participants. A few delegates gave feedback on the Conference and the session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Sundram Priyadarshnie, HOD, BPIT.
BPIT Annual Diwali fest VIBE - The Dandiya Night, Tuesday 18th of October, 2022
BPIT organized its annual Diwali fest Vibe:The Dandiya Night on Tuesday the 18th of October, 2022 in the campus. The event commenced at 3:00 pm with the welcome of the management and dignitaries. Shri.Vinod Vats, General Secretary, BBCT complimented the students on their efforts and blessed the event. The inaugural ceremony was graced by all the pillars of BPIT. Principal Prof. Pahwa, Founder Director, Shri A.K. Tandon, Executive Director Shri. Y.D. Gaur, Deputy Director Shri CR Jagga, all Deans HODS and Faculty of BPIT were present in the inaugural ceremony which included the lamp lighting ceremony, Ganesh Vandana & Ram bhajan and dance and singing performances by the talented students of BPIT
The evening became lively with the dandiya night that was started by the troop and all the faculty, students and alumni of BPIT danced to the garba tunes as well as the DJ till their feet started to ache. Food stalls, diyas and ethic jewellery stalls were other attractions in the fest. Vibe was Co-sponsered by Fincopedia, crest insure, food partner lamp and grills, beverages partner fresca.
The fest ignited the fervor amongst all for the upcoming Diwali Festival.
Orientation Programme Wednesday, 12th of October, 2022
School of Business Administration, BPIT welcomed its students of MBA (2022-24 batch) and BBA (2022-25 batch, morning and evening shift) with an orientation programme on Wednesday, 12th of October, 2022. The students were familiarized with the different aspects of the department and the institute and were blessed by the Management and the seniors of the institute. Padmashri Surendra Sharma (Vice President, BBCT), Shri Vinod Vats (General Secretary, BBCT) graced the event and extended blessings to the new students. Principal Prof. Payal Pahwa also briefed the students about the different aspects of the institute and also welcomed them in the new span of their lives. The students looked excited for this new journey and were enthusiastic to start regular classes from the next day onwards.
Industrial Visit BSE at Rajendra Palace, 7 October 22
There was an industrial visit on BSE in Rajendra Palace for MBA and BBA students. There were three sessions in total which were conducted by Mr. Harbinder Singh Sokhi, BSE IPF – Executive. In first session there was a brief introduction of CDSL. In second session there was a major discussion of primary and secondary market. In third session there was a practical presentation on stock trading. Sir showed some of the highlights of BSE website and allocation of stock index.

Mr. Shubham Pokhriyal (M.B.A. Class of 2018) and Ms. Manvi Bhalla (M.B.A. Class of 2008) interacted with students of B.B.A. and M.B.A. Students took guidance from their alumni on various corporate issues.

Mr. Akshat jain, an Independent Fund Manager and Owner of Goyam Investments hosted a seminar on Financial Markets and Various Investment Avenues .
Students of SBA department participated and came to know about how a person can establish a successful career into stock markets and can be self financially independent.
Students learnt about factors which affect markets and how to deal with them.
Students had meditation session too to improve their mental stability and positivity.
Industrial Visit for BBA students at Garvit Enterprises:9th June, 2022
The industrial visit was planned by SBA department for BBA Second semester students to M/s Garvit Green Industries Pvt Ltd, Panipat on 07.06.2022. The said company deals in manufacturing of different shapes and sizes of eco friendly biodegradable food plates and bowls. Their final product is being sent to big brands like Gulab, Chirag Restaurant chain, and many more. They also export 30% -40% of their annual sales turnover.
51 students out of 60 in BBA Sem II gave consent to go for Industrial visit. Along with 51 students three faculty members namely Ritu Bajaj, Naman Kataria and Neha Garg also visited the unit. Bus was booked from college and all the students came to college first and bus started from college around 10:00am on 07.06.2022.
Guest Lecture on Financial Literacy on Capital Markets and Role of Depository:26th May, 2022
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology in collaboration with MSE, NSDL and SEBI conducted a workshop on the theme of Financial Literacy on Capital Markets and Role of Depository. The main speakers were Ms. Simran Kaur, Ms Karishma Makkar and Ms. Himani Lath. It was an insightful session that was received very well by the student fraternity.
An intellectual Alliance of Ideas - A case study analysis on 6th May, 2022
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of technology organized a Case study analysis and presentation competition “Intellectual Alliance of Ideas” on May 6th, 2022, Friday with an aim to improve student’s problem solving approach, communication skills, team spirit abilities and leadership qualities. The entire event was conceptualized, designed and executed by School of Business Administration department.
The occasion was graced by Dr Renu Mishra and Dr Ashok Kumar Sangwan as Panel Judges. Dr Renu Mishra, is presently working as Assistant Professor, Capital University College, Gulf American University, Dubai, UAE and Dr Ashok Kumar Sangwan, is taking charge as Head cost of delivery at Wipro Limited. Both are expertise in their field. In order to make the competition fair and challenging, Panel Judges were called from outside BPIT Campus. Total 20 teams participated (including BPIT Teams). First prize was grabbed by Team VIPS (Isha Arora, Gautam Khandelwal, Mishant Singhal and Mukul Dang) and Second prize to Team BVIMR (Gaurav Jain, Aashi Jain, Priya Dubey and Saurabh Solanki)
The event was a grand success as teams from different colleges participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Event was managed under guidance of Prof. Sundram Priyadarshnie, Head of SBA department, BPIT.
Fresher’s cum Farewell Party for MBA and BBA Students: 22nd April, 2022
Covid-19 had changed the experience of college life for students. Events and celebrations were not happening for two years and to bring back the zest in college life, SBA organized a Fresher’s cum Farewell party at Euphoria, Moti Nagar. Students enjoyed to their best and the day was filled with activities, games, dance and Music.
Industrial Visit and Trip to Mcleodganj and Dharamshala: 25th -29th of March, 2022
School of Business Administration, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology organized a trip for its MBA and BBA students to McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala. The trip was a mixed bag of fun and study, where students explored Dharamshala and McLeodGanj. It trip began on the 25th March with 40 students and 4 Faculty members. On the first day of the trip the students and faculty walked to the Dalai Lama Temple. The next day the students went for trekking of about 9 kms. On the 28th, gathering checked out of the hotel and went to a famous temple called Maa Bagla Mukhi Temple, Next stoppage was at Dharamshala Cricket Stadium along the way to industrial tour of a Tea Plant, where they saw how black tea is made and produced. After checking out of the tea plant, they began our journey home, arriving at campus on the 29th morning.
